Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebrations
Saturday 25th April – Thomas Telford Centre, Menai Bridge
To celebrate the Bard’s birthday, we bring you a day of Shakespeare themed celebrations for all the family at The Thomas Telford Centre.
We have an afternoon of Shakespeare-themed family fun activities and an evening soiree of scenes, sonnets, and songs with food and drink. See below for more details.
This is your chance to learn more about Shakespeare and get involved. Fully interactive and lots of fun, this fundraiser will contribute towards our next season and some very exciting summer performances.
2pm-4pm An afternoon of family fun activities. Story-time! 30 second performances! Shakespeare Karaoke! Raffle! Selfies with Shakespeare!
Refreshments available to buy. Free birthday cake!
There is no need to book a space for the afternoon activities – just turn up and join in! The more the merrier.
7pm – 10pm An evening of scenes, sonnets, and songs. A Shakespeare Auction! Cheese boards by &Caws and drinks, including cocktails by Freddie.

The winning play and our summer season will be announced with much fanfare and rolling of drums at the end of the night.
As always, the event is FREE FOR ALL OR PAY WHAT YOU CAN, but our performances always fill up quickly, so please book a space for the evening event.
